Jay-Z Speaks On Watch The Throne

News of Kanye and Jay-Z creating a joint album was distributed back in August of this year. Originally the album was expected to function only five tracks, but Jay-Z has confirmed that there is in fact 10 tracks on Watch The Throne will.

Michael Jackson Duet with Akon set for release
LOS ANGELES-a Duet recorded by Michael Jackson and rapper-producer Akon will go on sale on Monday--the first single from an album of new music from the King of pop after his death in 2009, his record label said on Thursday.
Called "Hold My Hand", the song was first included in 2007 and in 2008 in an unfinished state was leaked on the Internet.
Jackson's Sony/Epic record label said that Akon recently completed production on the track. it will be released worldwide on November 15, as the first official single from the album "Michael", which is on sale on 14 december.
Sony and the executors of Jackson good said they had a handwritten note of the "Thriller" singer, indicating his desire "hold My Hand" the first single on his next project.

Some music critics, along with a couple of Jackson's family members, have said that they do not believe that the vocals on "Breaking News" really belong to the entertainer.
Jackson's estranged father Joe has said that his perfectionist son would not have wanted his unfinished material released.
But last week Sony countered that after extensive research, it was sure that the vocals are Jackson's own.
"Michael" has the support of Jackson's official well and is the last commercial enterprise to capitalize on the renewed popularity of the singer in death. A Cirque du Soleil show, dance video game and a DVD set of all his pop music videos is also on its way.

Jay-Z Signs Jay Electronica To Roc Nation
All hip hop: Jay-Z Jay Electronica to Roc Nation tonight on signed an exclusive music industry feature tonight in New York City.

Jay-Z wants to work with Cher Lloyd

Cher Lloyd has impressed Jay-Z and the hip-hop mogul has said that he could make the X Factor contestant a star.
17-year-old rapper and singer Cher among some of the biggest hits of the Jay on the show, and now he praised her performances.
"I was very impressed with her version of Hard Knock Life," stated the Empire State Of Mind-star, who recently acclaimed UK talent.
"It must be a track on her debut album and I would like to add to the my lyrics."
Jay also went on to add that he could get some of his great friends to work with Cher. "I could get myself, Kanye West, Beyoncé and Rihanna all working on her debut album and that it would create an automatic hit. "
